From the M6 and Preston:
Leave the M6 at junction 31 and take the A677 towards Clitheroe and Blackburn. Turn left at the Swallow Hotel at Samlesbury towards Clitheroe and Whalley on the A59. Drive straight on for 5 miles, passing Huntleys on the left, the BAE Systems factory on the right and going straight ahead at the Mellor Brook roundabout until you reach the traffic lights at Clayton-le-Dale. Go straight on through these for almost another 1½ miles, passing through Copster Green. You will see a right turning to The Rydings, a housing development where you also see signs for Longsight Nursery and Longsight Stables. After turning into The Rydings take the first right on to The Dales. Turn right down Dewhurst Road and you will see The Sanctuary, a red brick building, on your left. Temporary parking is on your right in the football club grounds.
From the A59
From Clitheroe: travel along the A59 towards Preston and approx 1 mile after the Langho roundabout (see turnings for Whalley and Blackburn but go straight on towards Preston) turn left up The Rydings. This is a housing development and you will see a sign saying ‘Kemple View Hospital’ just before the turn. You will also see signs for Longsight Nursery and Longsight Stables at the entrance to The Rydings.
After turning into The Rydings take the first right on to The Dales. Turn right down Dewhurst Road and you will see The Sanctuary, a red brick building, on your left. Parking is available at the front and back of the building and entrances are at either side.
